Binge Drinking is where a person drinks alcohol just to be intoxicated. They may or may not be alcoholics. It is common for binge drinking to happen to a social situation, creating some overlap in social and binge drinking.

It is classed as binge drinking when a woman has 4 or more drinks drinks or a man has 5 or more drinks at a sitting within a 2 week period who normally do not drink. I
